Weekly Trail Conditions for: Tuesday, 4/30/2024
Rodak Nature Trail: Spring break-up conditions! A lot of the snow is gone, there are a few lingering snowy sections.
Albert Loop Trail: Spring break-up conditions! Snow is melting fast, but expect some snowy/slushy sections throughout the trail.
Historic Iditarod Trail/Crow Pass Trail (Nature Center Trailhead to Echo Bend only): Spring break-up conditions! Clear trail with a mix of packed/icy in spots in the AM, some soft snow/wet spots in the PM.
Dew Mound Trail: Trail is post-holey and deep in still in spots, may sink up to your knees in places. Please note that the Dew Mound trail is skinnier, rootier and rockier than our other trails.
Rapids Cutoff Trail: Spring break-up conditions. Expect firmer conditions in the AM and softer/slushy conditions by the afternoon.

Dog owners: Please remember to keep your dog(s) on a leash on the Rodak Trail, Albert Loop Trail and first mile of the Dew Mound and Iditarod Trail. Please be responsible trail users and pickup after your dogs. Bags are available at the trail head sign at the ERNC.
Crow Pass Trail - It is still winter on the Girdwood side of the trail! Road to the Girdwood side trailhead still covered in snow and chances of spring avalanches are high. To get an idea of how much snow might be in Crow Pass, check out the Alyeska Mountain Report & Webcams.
