Eagle River Nature Center - Connecting People with Nature

Current Conditions

NEW ON 6/24/2016: Crow Pass Trail Reopened at Heidi's Knob near Ford Site river crossing.  Click here for info.

We do our best to update our trail conditions, but feel free to call us at 907-694-2108 if the information above is not current.

Please be aware that the Albert Loop Trail is typically closed during the months of August, September and October as bears feed on salmon in the creeks crossing this trail. The closure is enforced by Chugach State Park rangers. Closure may occur as early as mid-July and may last well into November.

The Rodak and Albert Loop trails are groomed for backcountry cross country skiing during the winter months. These trails require dogs to be on leash at all times.
