These are programs arranged in advance for scout troops, day/summer camp groups or other children’s group (other than schools).  Our professional naturalists will gladly respond to your specific program needs.  Programs can cover any topic of natural history and can be held at the Nature Center or another location. 
 

Cost of an organized children's program at the Nature Center is $5/child (minimum of 10 children or $50 minimum if less than 10 children).  For a program presentation at your location, we charge $50/hour plus mileage outside of Eagle River.  Call 907-694-9255 to contact our naturalists, or email naturalist@ernc.org

Kneehi Naturalist Programs for pre-schoolers (ages 3-5) take place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am-noon.  Schedule varies, so please see our monthly calendar for dates.

Organized groups (scout troops, summer camp groups, etc) wishing to attend a weekend Junior Naturalist Program should keep in mind that these programs are for the general public and free of charge (only $5 parking fee per vehicle).  Due to space constraints, we ask that if your group consists of 1-9 children and you give a "heads up" to our naturalist.  Write to naturalist@ernc.org  If you have 10 or more children, you need to arrange for a special program with a minimum fee of $50.  See above ("Cost of an organized children's program.)
