Lend a Hand in Any Way You Can: Volunteer!
We need enthusiastic volunteers to assist in our efforts.
We salute all our volunteers for contributing their talents and their time to make the Nature Center a great place for learning and discovery. From helping people of all ages better understand their natural world to helping enhance the recreational opportunities in the Eagle River Valley, they do it all. We thank all of you!
You can help in two different ways at the Nature Center:
1. Become a Local Volunteer- Local volunteers live in the Eagle River or Anchorage area and come out to the Center as much as they can and want to, helping us out all year long. I am interested in becoming a local volunteer.
2. Become a Resident Volunteer- Resident Volunteers work approximately 30-35 hours a week in exchange for housing at the Center and a modest stipend. We need resident volunteers mainly in the Summer to help out during the height of tourist season and one or two volunteers in the winter. I am interested in becoming a resident volunteer.
