Directions to the Eagle River Nature Center

From Anchorage (from south):

Take the Glenn Highway North to the Eagle River Loop Road Exit.  When you exit, you will immediately come to a traffic light. Continue on straight, cross the bridge and go straight through one more light. At the third traffic light, you have reached the Eagle River Road. Make a right on to Eagle River Road and follow the road to the end, 12 miles into the valley. The Nature Center is at the end of the road.

From Wasilla/ Palmer (from north):

Take the Glenn Highway South to the second Eagle River Exit (the first one is called the North Eagle River Access. The second one is called Eagle River Road). When you exit, make a left and go over the highway. You will immediately come to a traffic light. This road is called Eagle River Road. Make a right and follow the road to the end, 12 miles into the valley. The Nature Center is at the end of the road.

Public Transportation Availability

People Mover bus service has transportation from Anchorage to the town of Eagle River. There is no available public transportation from Eagle River to the Nature Center.
